Community is what shaped us. While we are our own individuals, our psyche, our approach, and our sensibilities are ultimately from the place where we came from. We understand this better once we leave them and forge our own path. As the athletes compete in the world stage, they remind us  to always look back to the community that pushed them.

Quite fitting, that my first project abroad is one that looks back to where I came from.
